Ho Chi Minh City

We left the South China Sea onto the Saigon River and turned into a smaller part of the river to reach the city.  This was very narrow and the Captain was busy navigating the river in the traffic.

We had a greeting by locals and the girls looked very cute.  Our tour began, and we were bussed through town to the Post Office, Notra Dame Church, History Museum, a Water Puppet show and a Lacquer factory.  Along the way we were seeing how the local people live - pretty amazing.  It was a hot and muggy day (see George’s shirt), so the inside tours were a bit stifling.

That was just the first part of our tour.
